Italian side AC Milan has been handed a huge boost ahead of weekend's clash against Udinese with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, Jens Petter Hauge, and Matteo Gabbia recovering from COVID-19.
Donnarumma and Hauge missed Milan's 3-3 draw with Roma and a 3-0 win against Sparta Prague after they had tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. However, the club has confirmed they've all recovered and will be available for selection this weekend.
"AC Milan announces that Matteo Gabbia has tested negative for Covid-19 and will undergo medical screening tomorrow before returning to sporting activities," a statement from the club read.
"Moreover, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Jens Petter Hauge, who had been asymptomatic, have tested negative following further testing. The local health authorities have been informed and both players are authorized to return to training."
