Chelsea set to register interest in Borussia Moenchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter

Chelsea are believed to be interested in retaining the services of Borussia Moenchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter according to several reports.

According to German publication Kicker via The Sun, the Blues are massively eager to sign Ginter after they were left impressed by his performances this season.

The same publication revealed that manager Frank Lampard is set to prepare a bit for the 26-year-old's services ahead of the January transfer window.

As per The Sun, the Premier League sign could sign the defender for a fee of £30m despite his performances deserving a little more.

It is believed that the Stamford Bridge outfit could release Antonio Rudiger in order to make spaces for Moenchengladbach player.

Ginter has registered one goal in nine appearances across all competitions this season.
