Northern Ireland captain Steven Davis will not be available for selection on Wednesday ahead of the UEFA Nations League clash against Romania.
According to reports, Davis left the Northern Ireland camp to travel back home due to unspecified personal reasons which changes the dynamic of the squad.
The Rangers midfielder played all 120 minutes of Thursday's 2-1 extra-time defeat to Slovakia in the Euro 2020 qualifying play-off final and was a second-half substitute as Northern Ireland lost 2-1 to Austria in Vienna on Sunday, his 124th international appearance.
Davis' absence comes a blow to Ian Baraclough who is also without Niall McGinn who is on the sidelines with an injury while George Saville has also cited personal reasons for this absence in the squad.
Northern Ireland are now anxiously waiting for UEFA to learn their fate after Romania-Norway match was cancelled and this could see them being potentially relegated from League B.
