Jose Mourinho send Premier League warning to Jurgen Klopp

Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has sent a Premier league warning to his Liverpool counterpart Jurgen Klopp.

Mourinho has urged the German to adapt to the hectic league fixture schedule going into December with the Reds suffering a series of injuries already this season.

Mourinho said on Wednesday in his Europa League post-match conference: "Klopp arrived by 2015. I arrived in 2004 so what he knows from 2015, I know since 2004. And nothing changes. We have to adapt to it and that's the way it is."

Klopp, has been one of the vocal managers in criticizing the Premier League schedule where a lot of games are being played in a much narrower time frame with its result seeing a significant increase in injuries.

Liverpool has lost Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez for the long-term while Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson, Thiago Alcantara, Xherdan Shaqiri, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are also sidelined.

The same schedule has been criticized by Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his Man City counterpart Pep Guardiola.

The Reds travel to the Ammex to face Brighton and Hove Albion in their next league fixture with Spurs being up against Chelsea in what will be a top of the table affair.
