Manchester United was not eliminated from the Champions League by RB Leipzig on Tuesday night but they did it in some unfashionable style.
Stats from Opta indicate that the English giants conceded three goals in consecutive Champions League games for the first time since 2003.
United arrived in the game after going down 3-1 to PSG at Old Trafford last week and conceded another three in their 3-2 loss on Tuesday.
United last conceded three goals in two consecutive games against Real Madrid in the 2002/03 season; the Madrid side, then, boasting of the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo and Luis Figo.
