Sead Kolasinac's loan move from Arsenal to Bundesliga side Schalke 04 is set to be announced tomorrow according to reports.
Kolasinac has already passed his Schalke medical and signed a contract until the end of the current season according to Sky Sports reporter Dirk Maassen. The left-back came close to signing for Bayer Leverkusen last summer but the deal failed to materialize after failing to agree on personal terms.
The 27-year-old has not started a Premier League game for over 3 months. His contract runs until the summer of 2022.
The move to Schalke will see him return to the club where he started his career. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta didn’t comment when asked about Kolasinac at his news conference this morning.
"I cannot confirm anything yet," he said ahead of the West Brom clash.
"We are working on a couple of things and obviously the window is going to bring a lot of news. Some are true, some are not. Whenever we have something to say, we will announce it."
The north London side will be up against West Brom on Sunday aiming to register their third successive win in the Premier League.
