English Premier League newbies Leeds United are set to hand striker Patrick Bamford a new improved deal following his perfect start to the season.
Bamford was a key member of the Leeds team as they gained promotion from the Championship last season and according to The Sun, the new deal would earn him more than the £35,000 a week that he currently collects.
The English striker has netted ten goals so far this season and with his current deal set to expire in June 2022, the club wants to tie him to a longer contract to wade off potential suitors.
Since arriving at the club from Middlesbrough in July 2018, the former England Under-21s international has scored 36 times in 89 appearances for Marcelo Bielsa's side.
