Tottenham Hotspur suffered back to back defeats following a 1-0 loss to Brighton on Sunday evening in a Premier League game staged at American Express Community Stadium.
Leandro Trossard scored the only goal in the first half that made the difference between Brighton and Tottenham. Brighton picked their first home win of the Premier League season to move themselves seven points clear of the relegation zone.
Gross expertly picked out by Mac Allister and he cut the ball back for Trossard, who steered the ball in at the near post. Brighton deserved that after a superb start to the game.
As for Tottenham, that was back-to-back Premier League defeats for the second time this season. They remain sixth but the worry is how poorly they played in the absence of Harry Kane who is on the sidelines with an injury.
