Manchester United talisman Bruno Fernandes has celebrated his first year at the English Premier League and world giants.
The Portuguese maestro joined United from Sporting Lisbon for €55m on 29 January 2020. Now with the glowing success of 28 goals and 18 assists 53 games, Bruno went on social media to honour his time at the club so far.
“Definitely not the result I wanted to celebrate my first year as a Red, but we’ll keep working to improve,” Fernandes said after the 0-0 draw against Arsenal last weekend.
“It’s an absolute honour to play football with the Man Utd badge on my chest. The history of this football club was built over wins, many wins. I came here to help on continuing that legacy, and I won’t rest until I do it.
“I want to thank all the fans for your outstanding support. Hopefully, this was only the first of many years together. Glory, glory Man United!” concluded the 26-year-old attacking midfielder.
Meanwhile, Fernandes and the Red Devils will welcome Southampton to Old Trafford on Tuesday night in a league game.
