Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has admitted that he spoke to Man United’s Paul Pogba about his troubles with Jose Mourinho.
Ndombele managed just 12 starts in the Premier League last season and 27 appearances in total and reached for Pogba about his difficulties with manager Jose Mourinho.
Ndomble’s relationship with the Portuguese had hit rock bottom last season where his manager publicly criticized his outing in a game against Burnley but he has been a key figure for the club this season despite rumors surfacing last summer that he was up for sale.
In an interview with Football.london, the French midfielder said: “We spoke, we spoke about that but really quickly. It wasn't like he gave me any advice because our situations were completely different.
“It's true he worked with Mourinho but my own experiences weren't the same and each relationship has its own characteristics.”
Spurs who have struggled of late to win games will be up against Burnely on Sunday where they will hope to better their ninth position in the elague.
