Ivory Coast international Eric Bailly will not renew his current deal with Manchester United.
Reports last month suggested that United wanted to keep the central defender for a longer period but the players camp feels that it is a ploy by the club to raise his asking fee as they seek to offload him to another club.
ESPN now reports that the player isn’t happy at the lack of game time at the club despite giving his best when always called upon and according to the reports, he is ready to leave the club in search of proper playing time elsewhere.
The 27-year-old has been plagued by injuries with United having the feeling that he can’t be trusted to be part of a formidable back four that they are currently trying to build.
He has featured in just eight Premier League matches so far this season with Solskjaer always sticking with a regular center-back partnership of Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire.
Inter are interested in Eric Bailly and are keeping an eye on his contract situation. [eurosport] #mufc— The United Stand (@UnitedStandMUFC) April 6, 2021
