Mzansi’s under 23 coach David Notoane has called up Percy Tau for the one of the senior players allowance in this year’s Olympics games.

Coach Notoane unveiled his selection list after a two week camp with locally-based players, before including names that play abroad in his selection at a live press conference in Johannesburg on Thursday.

The 40-man group, which will be later trimmed to 23 players, will have three senior players, as per the Olympics rule.

The South Africans will be making a third-consecutive appearance at the games, following appearances at London 2012 and Rio 2016.


The Group opponents are yet to be revealed ahead of the July 23 start.
