Liverpool has been given a boost in the pursuit of winger Adama Traore after Wolves reduce his asking price.
According to reports last summer, Wolves needed a fee of around £60m for the player but Football Insider now reports that the Nuno side has slashed the fee into half meaning they are now ready to let the player leave for as little as £30million this summer.
According to Sport, Liverpool have recently been linked with Traore as they feel that the Spanish international can give them something a little different upfront after this disappointing season.
The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has not hidden his admiration of the player in the past, with Goal once quoting him as saying of Traore: “(Traore) is unplayable in moments, it’s unbelievable. What a player – it’s not only him but he’s so good.”
The Reds have had a torrid campaign in their title defense and are in danger of missing the Champions League next season. Not only are they out of the European premier completion, but the club is also currently placed sixth with 52 points; three points below fourth-placed West Ham United.
