Romelu Lukaku’s impact at Inter has been a profound one.
The brilliant Belgian raced to 20 goals for the Nerazzurri in his debut campaign quicker than any other player in the club’s history, including the legendary Brazilian Ronaldo.
2019-20 was an outstanding season for him on a personal level. He became the first Inter player to his 30+ across all competitions in a campaign since Samuel Eto'o all the way back in 2011. Although he went on a nine-game scoring streak in the Europa League, including a goal in the final, his side fell to Sevilla. Collective glory was still missing.
In 2020-21, however, he’s taken things to a whole new level, with 22 goals & 11 assists in Serie A so far which have propelled Inter to their first Scudetto crown since 2010.
