Aston Villa is set to launch an audacious move for Arsenal wonder kid Emile Smith Rowe.
Rowe is yet to sign a new deal with Arsenal despite having been one of their best players in the just concluded season with the player’s current deal ending in 2023.
The player wants some assurance with his first-team chances and according to The Telegraph, Villa is trying to lure the England U21 international to the Midlands.
Rowe managed 18 league starts for Arsenal last season and Villa feels that he might be the missing piece in their attack as they feel he can complement their English attacking duo of Jack Grealish and Ollie Watkins.
The Birmingham Mail says that Dean Smith’s aim in the summer window is to rope in young British-based players who already have Premier League experience. Villa hopes that their relationship with Arsenal will help them secure the deal after getting keeper Emiliano Martinez from the Emirates last summer.
It remains to be seen if Arsenal would allow one of their most prized asset to leave the club more so with both Martin Odegaard and Dani Ceballos set to return to Real Madrid.
