Wojciech Szczesny sets unwanted EURO record

Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has become the first shot-stopper ever to score an own goal in the history of the Euros.

The Juventus keeper made a sensational save to deny Robert Mak, who had dribbled deep into the box and released a strike towards the bottom left corner but ended up punching the ball onto the post and onto the back of the net.

He however recovered well to keep the Slovaks at bay for the remainder of the opening half.
