The Gunners are dominating the fight for A.C. Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, according to Italian outlet Gazzette dello Sport.
The 24-year-old, who might be Thomas Partey's teammate at the Emirates, is valued at €50 million by the Italian giants.
Kessie, who scored 14 goals and added six assists last season, might help Arsenal overcome their goal-scoring problem in midfield.
The midfielder's current deal at the San Siro has just one year left on it, putting Milan in the unenviable situation of having to decide whether to sell him this summer or let him leave for free next year.
The Gunners could be aided in their attempts to sign the excellent midfielder due to the fact that their former CEO Ivan Gazidis is currently an executive board member at AC Milan. Those close relationships could be key in facilitating any possible move.
However, it will not be easy to convince Kessie to leave AC Milan this season especially when one considers the lack of European football at the Emirates compared to AC Milan's Champions League status after an impressive Serie A campaign saw them finish in the European spots.
