Mauro Icardi has denied claims that he is considering a return to Italy with Roma or Juventus, insisting that he will stay at PSG "this season, next season, and next!!!"
There were rumors that the Argentina international, through his wife and agent Wanda Nara, was in talks to return to Serie A after previously playing for Sampdoria and Inter.
Juve were rumored to be considering him for a trade deal if Cristiano Ronaldo left for PSG, while Jose Mourinho of Roma was also mentioned.
Icardi, on the other hand, responded on Instagram to a fan who stated that Icardi must remain at PSG.
“This season, the next, and the next!!!” was his response on Instagram Stories.
“That has never been in doubt!!! Come on PSG”
In 2020, the 28-year-old center-forward moved from Inter to PSG for €50 million with up to €22 million in bonuses.
Inter had a condition in the selling contract that forced PSG to pay a €15 million penalty if Icardi was sold to another Serie A club, so a return to Italy has been a significant question mark.
