England international Kieran Trippier is pushing for a move to Manchester United as he wants to return to England.
The right-back has been a revelation for Atletico Madrid since he joined them from Tottenham Hotspur and while his club doesn't want to let him go, the player is said to be pleading with the Laliga side to grant him his wish of returning home.
The experienced Englishman wants to move back to the Manchester area, where his family lives and according to Diario Sport, Trippier is asking Atletico to lower their asking price from the current £34 million release clause in his contract.
The player won La Liga with Atletico this past season, while he excelled for England at Euro 2020.
