Arsenal's manager Mikel Arteta has admitted he is not sure about Hector Bellerin and Joe Willocks's respective futures in North London.
As widely reported here on Futaa and around Arsenal circles, Bellerin is eager to continue his career elsewhere in Europe after arriving at Arsenal as a U18 player nine years ago. The 26-year-old Spaniard was initially linked with FC Barcelona, later PSG, and lately one of the leading Italian teams.
Also in Arsenal's likely exits right now is the 21-year-old midfielder Joe Willock. The Englishman impressed on loan last season at Newcastle United, and has thus attracted interest from a string of mid-table Premier League sides.
Arteta, shortly after the Gunners lost 2-1 to Chelsea in a preseason friendly last weekend, was asked to share his views on the duo's likely departures.
"I don't know. I'm going to coach them and train them, and respect and look after everybody because they are our players," Arteta said to the club's media.
"Hopefully they can have their minds here and prepare here because they are Arsenal players and our job is to make them as good as we can," the Spaniard concluded.
Meanwhile, the Gunners will start the new Premier League season away to newcomers Brentford.
