Crystal Palace boss Patrick Viera wants to raid his former side Arsenal for the services of winger Reiss Nelson.
Palace has been one of the busiest teams this transfer and according to Sky Sports News, Nelson could be moving across London to Palace on loan for the entire 2021-2022 campaign.
Nelson only managed nine appearances for the Gunners last term and while he is highly valued at the Emirates, coach Mikel Arteta feels that a move elsewhere would massively improve the player.
Apart from Nelson, Palace has been linked with moves for AFC Bournemouth forward Arnaud Danjuma and RB Leipzig's Ademola Lookman.
The Eagles signed Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher on a season-long loan last week, meaning the club is allowed one further loan deal with a fellow Premier League club.
📰 Palace are also close to agreeing terms for Reiss Nelson. But whilst they were looking at a temporary deal, they may instead look at a permanent one for the 21-year-old – who has been told he is surplus to requirements under Mikel Arteta.— CPFC Transfers HQ (@CPFCtransfersHQ) August 4, 2021
