English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion has completed the signing of Kaoru Mitoma from Japanese League club Kawasaki Frontale.
The Seagulls announced the deal on the club's website on Tuesday, where it is confirmed that the 24-year-old has secured a four-year deal but will immediately move to the Belgian lower division side Royal Union Saint-Gilloise for a loan spell.
"Brighton & Hove Albion are pleased to confirm the signing of Japan international Kaoru Mitoma on a four-year-contract, on undisclosed terms from J1 League team Kawasaki Frontale," the club said on its website.

"He will spend the 2021/22 season on loan with Belgian first division side Royal Union Saint-Gilloise, and will link up with the Brussels based side after a break following the Olympics in Tokyo," the report added.
Graham Potter's side is also expected to sell the South African winger Percy Tau to Al Ahly, according to reports.
Meanwhile, Brighton will kick off the new Premier League season away to Burnley this weekend.
