Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli has officially joined Serie A giants Juventus on a five-year deal.
The confirmation was done by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano who claimed that Juve will pay a sum of €35m plus add ons for the player who was also a target for Premier League side Arsenal.
Locatelli has previously admitted that he is a huge admirer of Juventus and after his sterling performance in the Euro 2020 that ended with his country winning the title, it became evident that he wasn't going to stay longer at Sassuolo.
Earlier reports had linked him with Manchester City and Liverpool who have been in the market for a midfielder but it turned out that the link never came to fruition.
