Eden Hazard has dismissed reports that he is unhappy in Madrid.
In two injury-plagued years at the Bernabeu, the former Chelsea man has struggled to build a name for himself, but he was reassured that he was still in Carlo Ancelotti's plans for the coming season.
However, rumors of a return to the Premier League have surfaced, however, Hazard has tried to debunk such rumors, insisting that he is "quite happy" at Real Madrid.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference, the 30-year-old said: "It's not true that I'm unhappy at Real Madrid, I feel very happy and you know that a player is always happy when they're playing.
"I haven't played much, nor have I scored, but that doesn't influence the love I have for the club. I'm very happy in the city of Madrid. The situation has been made complicated by COVID and injuries, but I'm happy."
Hazard has started two of Real's three La Liga games so far this season, and he played 74 minutes in Belgium's 5-2 World Cup Qualifying victory over Estonia on Thursday.
