Mohamed Salah has been named Liverpool's Player of the Month for August.
The Egyptian enjoyed a perfect start to the new season, helping Jurgen Klopp's Reds to collect seven points from a possible nine in August.
Salah scored one of Liverpool's three goals in the opening match against Norwich City and had a hand in the other two as they won 3-0.
He then scored from the penalty spot against Chelsea in the third match at Anfield just before the international break.
Speaking when he collected his award ahead of Wednesday night's Champions League match against AC Milan at Anfield, the striker said;
“Thank you very much,” the Egyptian told Liverpoolfc.com.
“I think it’s a good start for us, seven points [in August]. We wanted to win nine, but it’s football. We’ve had a good start.”
Salah edged out Harvey Elliott and Kostas Tsimikas to lift the award.
