Manchester United's manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has assured Jesse Lingard's fans that the attacker has a bright future at Old Trafford.
Lingard comes off a rollercoaster week, starting with a fabulous goal against Newcastle last weekend before an embarrassing ball-possession loss that allowed Young Boys to grab a 2-1 win in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday in Switzerland.
The player's manager Solskjaer has since took a moment to back the talented star ahead of the coming weekend's battle with West Ham United.
"We see him as a Manchester United player in the future," Ole said via United's media.
"Jesse has come back to us after a great spell at West Ham. He showed his qualities and got back into the England squad.
"We really want to see the best of him this season," the Norwegian added.
Solskajer concluded his points by touching on Lingard's contractual situation.
"He's got one year left on his contract and the club is talking to him and his dad. We support him and we hope to keep him here with us. He’s a Red through and through," he concluded.
