🇵🇹 Mourinho not satisfied “at all” with Roma’s 5-1 win

AS Roma's manager Jose Mourinho has expressed disquiet despite a smashing 5-1 win over CSKA Sofia 5-1 in the Europa Conference League midweek.

The Italians fell behind by an odd goal before delivering a spectacular comeback of five goals, thanks to goals from Stephan El Shaarawy, Gianluca Mancini, and Tammy Abraham.

The result was a straight sixth victory for the Romans but the Portuguese tactician managed to pick out what displeased him about the night's work.

"We didn’t play well. We are really creating a team, but today I didn’t like our game," Jose said via the Metro.

"At times we did well, a strong team is coming together, we have already talked about it and must be even more of a team when we go into the difficult moments.

"However, I was not satisfied with the performance at all. We did not play with quality. Just two days ago we trained about this, but the full-backs didn’t push much, there wasn’t enough intensity, we lost so many defensive duels.

"I cannot say we played badly, but we didn’t do well either and certainly not enough to warrant a 5-1 result. Yes, we have more quality than CSKA Sofia, but we didn’t do enough," he concluded.

Coming up next for the Serie A log leaders is a trip to Hellas Verona.
