Pedri is expected to sign a new contract with Barcelona despite interest from other clubs.
The 18-year-old only joined Camp Nou last summer from Las Palmas, but he was a significant player for the Catalan giants during the 2020-21 season, making 52 appearances across all competitions and scoring four goals and six assists.
Pedri then returned to Barcelona after representing Spain at Euro 2020 and the Tokyo Olympics, and he has already made three appearances for the club this season.
The Spaniard's current contract at Camp Nou is set to expire next summer, but Ronald Koeman's team has the option to extend it for another two years until June 2024.
According to reports, Liverpool are considering an £88 million bid for the kid, with Jurgen Klopp seeing him as the ideal replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum at Anfield.
Pedri, on the other hand, has no intention of leaving Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo, and is determined to sign a new contract with the La Liga club as soon as possible.
The midfielder is currently out with a thigh injury and will be unavailable for tonight's LaLiga match against Granada.
