Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi is set to miss his side's trip to Metz tomorrow with a knock on his left knee.
Messi picked up a knock on his left knee during PSG's 2-1 win over Lyon on Sunday and will sit out Wednesday's trip to Metz. The Ligue 1 giants have confirmed that an MRI scan has revealed bone bruising on Argentine's left knee.
"Messi, after the blow he received on his left knee, he had an MRI this morning that confirms the signs of a bone bruise, a new point will be made in 48h,'" said head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
The former Barcelona ace will be assessed again in 48 hours.
