Nuno: Harry Kane must forget about last summer

Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo has urged Harry Kane and his team to forget about last summer following their loss to Chelsea over the weekend.

Spurs who started the season brilliantly have lost their past two games and with a North London derby against arch-rivals Arsenal coming up, the Portuguese want his side to be in a good shape.

Nuno seemed angered by constant questions about Kane ahead of their Cup game against Wolves with the manager choosing to answer the question with a general view of his team.

"That's (summer transfer)the past. Nothing that we can say or do in the future will change the past," Nuno said. "What we have to do with the past is put it behind our heads and put it in the present.

"We have to find the process inside of the team. It's all the players. All the players. We have to tell them and find solutions and find the best way. In the previous game, Harry started on the left, really high and things went well. Unfortunately, we were not able to score. We had chances to do so. We are trying to reinvent, recreate situations that can improve our football and our game. Harry is part of the team," Nuno noted.

Spurs have a tight schedule coming up with a Europa Conference League tie against Mura coming up after their tie against Arsenal and Wolves.
