During Manchester United's 1-0 Premier League loss at home to Aston Villa on Saturday, both Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire were injured.
In the first half of the match at Old Trafford, Shaw pulled up with what appeared to be a muscle injury and was eventually replaced by Diogo Dalot in the 34th minute.
Maguire, meantime, was replaced in the 67th minute of the game after failing to recover from a calf injury, with Victor Lindelof replacing him and partnering Raphael Varane at the back.
Kortney Hause headed in a Douglas Luiz corner into the back of the goal to give Villa the lead in the 88th minute, but in the closing stages, the Red Devils had an opportunity to tie the game from the penalty spot, but Bruno Fernandes' shot flew over the crossbar.
Man United is one of four clubs in the Premier League with 13 points, however, they are a goal difference behind Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea.
