🏆 AC Milan vs Atletico Madrid
AC Milan’s fans are about to hear the Champions League anthem at home for the first time since 2013-14 when their team was knocked out of the competition in the Round of 16 by Atlético Madrid. The Rossoneri have lost three of their last six European home fixtures (W2, D1, L3 – excluding qualifiers). That being said, Milan has won each of their three 2021-22 Serie A home games by at least a two-goal margin and will be keen to avenge their 3-2 defeat at Anfield on matchday 1. Atléti has failed to score in three of their last four outings overall and would probably settle for a point in the San Siro on Tuesday.

🏆 Real Madrid vs FC Sheriff
Real Madrid claimed an impressive 1-0 win in the San Siro against Inter on matchday 1 and they'll be heavy favorites to claim a resounding win against competition debutants Sheriff. The Moldovan champions did start their campaign with a brilliant 2-0 win against Shakhtar and won't just be there to make up the numbers. They're unbeaten in 16 matches overall too. Los Blancos were held to a 0-0 draw at the weekend by Villarreal and they may face a similarly stern rearguard here, but they should have the quality to get a win.

🏆 Shakhtar Donetsk vs Inter Milan
Shakhtar's shock 2-0 defeat on the opening matchday against Moldovan minnows Sheriff. The Ukrainians mustered 21 shots in the opening game week, second only to Liverpool’s 23, and will be looking for a vast improvement here having not lost on matchday two for the last three seasons (W1, D2). In what is the sixth meeting in major European competition between these two, the Italians are yet to taste defeat against Shakhtar (W2, D3), although the pair of 0-0 draws in last season’s UCL shows they haven’t had it all their own way. The Nerazzurri have only conceded once in five prior meetings with Donetsk though and will be confident they can get their campaign on track here.
