Robertson reveals how Liverpool dealt with Simeone's touchline theatrics

Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson has revealed how his team dealt with the theatrics deployed by Atletico Madrid Diego Simeone on the touchline.

Diego Simeone's constantly whipped up the home crowd during Tuesday's eventful Champions League clash and according to Robertson, they were mature about the situation ad handled it well.

"Luckily our squad is really experienced now, we've been to some really touch places in Europe and in the Premier League and been able to cope with that (Simeone's theatrics).

"In the second half, you saw that especially when we took the lead and penalty for them wasn't given. I think in the last 10 minutes we've seen the game out really, really well when they were trying to push, and get close to the ball," Robertson told LFCTV via the Mirror.

His sentiments came after Simeone refused to shake Klopp's hand at full time with the German tactician admitting that he had been a little "wound up" by the Argentine.
