Carlo Ancelotti believes he has assembled the world's best midfield with Casemiro, Toni Kroos, and Luka Modric.
The three have received widespread acclaim for their consistent contributions to Los Blancos' success over the last decade or so, with each contributing to La Liga and Champions League victories.
Their status as a world-class trio is unquestionable, and Ancelotti has stated that nobody compares to the trio.
When asked if he had the best midfield in the world, he told AS: "Yes, I think so. Those three make up the best midfield in the world right now.
"Maybe the box-to-box midfielders are more what you think of, but Modric, Kroos, and Casemiro have so much experience and are so good at the game that they are simply extraordinary. What's more, it turns out they play so well together. When the three of them are together there's nobody who can compare to them."
Not only does Real Madrid have one of the best midfields in the world, but they also have one of the best strikers.
Karim Benzema has been in outstanding form over the last two years, and Ancelotti lauded the Frenchman's efforts.
Asked if Benzema is the best striker in the world, he added: "I think so, because to his game he's added a massive, regular ability to put the ball in the back of the net. He's at the level of Cristiano Ronaldo or Haaland. Benzema is a player who makes a difference. We saw it once again in the game against Athletic, with two goals in quick succession. He's in amazing form."
Real Madrid are in excellent form in Ancelotti's first season back, leading La Liga by eight points and winning their Champions League group with five victories in six games.
