Aubameyang left out of Arsenal squad for Dubai training camp

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been left out of Arsenal's squad that is set to train in Dubai during the international break.

The former Gunners captain is recovering from Covid-related health issues, which saw him miss Gabon's Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.

He is yet to feature for the London club since their 2-1 defeat at Everton on December 6 following a disciplinary issue.

The striker has since been exiled, with the club reportedly ready to listen to offers for the 32-year-old.

A number of European powerhouses including AC Milan, PSG, and Marseille have all been mentioned as possible destinations for the former Borussia Dortmund man.

He has also attracted attention from Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr, who are keen on taking him on loan at least until the end of the season.

For this reason, the Gunners are in the market for a new striker and were linked with Fiorentina hotshot Dusan Vlahovic, who has since agreed on a move to Juventus.

Aubameyang, who has 18 months remaining on his contract, has scored seven goals in 15 games for Arsenal this season.
