Egyptian club delighted with Omeyele capture

Plateau United player Tosin Omoyele has penned a six-month loan deal with Egyptian football club Noogom which will see him link up with fellow Nigerian Michael Azekhumen. 

According to Football Live reports, Omoyele had been previously tipped for a deal in Europe but the youngster opted to settle with Noogom who are currently 14th on the league log.

Head coach Antonio Calderon has been delightfully vocal about signing the budding striker who is fondly known as 'Paul Scholes of Nigeria'.

Omoyele who joined Plateau United Osogbo-based Osun United had trials with Stabaek and Valerenga, both clubs from Norway back in 2018 said he wants to make name for himself with Noogom, which came into existence in 2006.

 “I am delighted to continue my journey. It’s an honour to play for this club," he said.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank all staff of Plateau United, my teammates and the fans who show support for my game.”
