Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA) have announced the signing of Cromwel Rwothomio Abanga from Paidha Black Angels.
According to reports, Abanga becomes the first signing for the club in the current January transfer window.
URA reportedly poached the former Black Angels captain after it archrivals Sports Club Villa had expressed keen interest.
The side coached by Sam Ssimbwa allegedly paid Shs 14M to acquire the player's services and will look to boost the attacking force that currently has Matthew Odong and Joackim Ojera.
URA had recently expressed their interest in signing Brian Kayanka from Bright Stars before they took on Abanga.
He becomes the third player who have previously played at Paidha Black Angels to feature at URA; the other two being Vitalis Tabu and Villa Oromochan.
In the 14 matches played, the tax collectors have tallied 21 points in the and are currently sitting sixth on the log.
URA will play against Vipers on Friday, January 25 at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
