Mbarara hold KCCA, Maroons start life after Nsiimbe with loss

Mbarara City maintained their unbeaten run against KCCA with yet another goalless draw in a decently-attended Uganda Premier League match at the Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara.

Ankole Lions defender Ibrahim Orit, who replaced former captain Asuman Halishe, was voted man of the match.

The result means that both KCCA and Mbarara retain their first and third positions respectively.

In the other game played on Wednesday, BUL edged Maroons FC 1-0 at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

BUL climbs a place to fourth with 26 points as Maroons remain three places away from safety.
