31 Jan 2019, 10:55

Police FC played to a 4-1 deficit against Nyamityobora on Wednesday, January 30 which left head coach Abdallah Mubiru with a bitter taste in his mouth.

Mubiru was left furious in what he deemed a silly defeat by a low ranked team in the Uganda Premier League.

The tactician also rued the missed chances that could have set the side rolling and the nature in which they defended.

“It is ashaming the way we lost possession and missed chances,” Mubiru said.

“The players’ mentality was poor, we were just reckless,” he added before revealing there could be new signings."

“We hope to acquire some personnel – some defenders. Most mistakes are individual. We will acquire a goalkeeper too."

Various sources indicate the Cops have signed former Kaizer Chiefs defender Ivan Bukenya as well as Edgar Bwogi who previously played at Express.

Police FC will play their next game against Express whom they visit at Wankulukuku on Monday, February 4.
