Uganda Premier League club URA had a positive start to the second round of the league with a successful 2-1 victory over Ndejje University on Tuesday, February 5.
Peter Lwasa scored for the Tax Collectors to win on the bounce for only the second time in the ongoing 2018/19 season.
Lwasa opened the scoring inside seven minutes and Ben Katetemera put the ball in his own net for the visitors second at the Arena of Visions in the 76th minute.
Robert Eseru scored the hosts’ consolation goal in the last minute of added time to salvage some pride for the University side.
It was only the second time this season that the four-time league champions have won twice in succession.
They are now firmly fourth on the league table with 28 points while Ndejje University are second from bottom with 10 points.
