Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has quickly gone on social media to expressing his sadness on the tragic passing of 10 people in a fire at his former cub's academy, Flamengo.
The tragedy was announced by Brazilian media this afternoon, including the confirmation that four of the 10 lost lives were the club's youth academy players.
Vinicius, who spent several years at the same institution before a £38.7 m move to Madrid, famously broke down in tears when he had to bid farewell to Flamengo last year.
"Just remembering the nights and days I spent on the CT, it's scary. Still without believing, but in prayer for all! God bless everyone's family! 😢" said the 18-year-old's translated tweet.
