After their second successive draw in LaLiga, Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has revealed that the side is suffering from ‘lack of communication’.
Barcelona picked up their third consecutive draw after their stalemate against Valencia two weeks ago which was followed by a home draw against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey and most recently dropped two points against Athletic Bilbao. The run has seen their lead at the top of LaLiga standings cut to just six points with Real Madrid chasing hot on their heels.
Speaking in a post-match press conference after the 0-0 draw against Bilbao, Suarez revealed that Barcelona are suffering from lack of communication, “There was a lack of communication in the first half. That's something we have to improve. We lost balls, we didn't speak. We have to ask for the ball more. It's the little details [that count].
“We're on the back of a run of a lot of matches and maybe that was a plus for [Athletic]. They were better rested for the game. But we created chances. Both teams had chances. I don't know if a draw is fair. Both teams did enough to win.”
