Power dynamos came into this game looking get back to the summit while Forest were hoping to make it three wins in a row. Forest started strong controlling play and took the lead seven minutes into the match, Zikiru Adams getting on the end of a Douglas Muwowo pass to finish off with easy.
Six Minutes later Austin Muwowo doubled the lead with a fine finish from close range. Austin Muwowo nearly scored from a corner and from close range but both times hit woodwork. The match went to the break with Forest Rangers leading 4-0.
In the second stanza Power dynamos came back a more organised side and started to threaten. Captain of the side Larry Bwalya took things personal and went on a solo run beating three defenders before finishing off nicely from close range to pull one back.
Zimbabwean defender Jimmy Dzingai headed home a free kick two minutes later to further reduce the deficit but it was a little too late as Forest collected all three points.
