The Kenya U15 team landed safely in Spain where the team is set to take part in the Mediterranean International Cup (MIC) U16 tournament.

The David Ouma coached charges are expected to take on Spanish sides NT Terres, Junior CF, and Eastern FC; the tournament bringing together top academies in Europe and according to Ouma, they will be out to get the youngsters into a competitive mindset.

“This team has been in camp for the better part of this year. We have also played a couple of friendly matches locally, which were aimed at getting the players into a competitive mindset,” said coach David Ouma as the team jetted out.

“The players now have a chance to showcase their talents on a big stage and I am confident that they will give a good account of themselves,” he added.

Kenya U17

While the U15 was landing in Spain, their U17 brothers were getting back into the country from Egypt where the team took part in the Union of North African Federations (UNAF) U18 Tournament and lost all its matches.

The team lost four matches in the five-nation tournament which had Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, and Tanzania take part.
