Aduana Stars issue statement following fans' attack on Medeama

Ghanaian side Aduana Stars have condemned the club’s fans attack on Medeama SC’s officials & players.

The shameful act occurred Nana Agyeman Badu Park after Wednesday's 1-1 draw.

A statement signed by George Gyawu, who is the Operations Director of the club, expressed huge disagreement with what a session of the fans did at the Agyemang Badu stadium in midweek.

Full Statement:

"The management of Aduana Football Club condemn the unfortunate behaviour of a
section of our supporters after the match between Aduana FC and Medeama SC at Nana
Agyemang Badu I Stadium yesterday,Wednesday 24th April 2019.

Their behaviour was unacceptable and must not be tolerated no matter what their
grievances maybe.

We apologize profusely to the sporting public and all stakeholders for the unfortunate
incident.

It has also come to our knowledge about a video circulating in the social media that an official of Medeama was stoned. Our investigation showed that no Medeama official was attacked.The man in the video is
rather a supporter of Aduana.”

Aduana disclosed their management paid him a visit,.. explained that in an attempt of going to
help calm situation down, he was engaged by some of the supporters union leadership
thinking he was going to fight the officials of the game.
