The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has unearthed a scam where some Division One clubs are using forged cards to fulfil fixtures.
During a press conference at Football house on Monday afternoon, FAZ General Secretary Adrian revealed that the Association had confiscated twelve forged cards in Muchinga province.
“Twelve cards were found on some Division One clubs in Muchinga, these are Tazara Rangers with nine forged cards, two from Real Nakonde and one from Riverside. These shows how deeply rooted this problem,” he said.
Kashala said the clubs using fake identifications would be dealt with by the relevant judicial bodies in order to root out the rot and make sure teams don't win using under hand methods .
