Bidvest Wits wrapped up the  Absa Premiership season with a third-place finish after securing a 1-0 victory over Golden Arrows at Princess Magogo Stadium.

Darren Keet took over the goalpost in place of suspended Ricardo Goss, while Granwald Scott and Gabadinho Mhango made their way back to the starting lineup.

The Clever Boys took control of the first half but neither side could find the back of the net in the opening 15 minutes despite Mhango having made his first attempt at goal in the 18th minute.

Gavin Hunt's side eventually had luck and took the lead two minutes after the interval when Mhango scored to ease his side's nerves.

As the game progress, Wits kept pushing and creating chances for a second goal through Gift Motupa, Thabang Monare, and Deon Hotto but the day ended 1-0 to the visitors to conclude the 2018/19 season.
