Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has said that his Player of the Season vote has gone to an Orlando Pirates footballer.

The outspoken coach known as ‘Jingles’ was asked which player earned his best player vote. "I don’t want to say who I voted for but I voted for a player of Orlando Pirates," said Mosimane to Kick Off.

Mosimane’s next point perhaps let the cat out the bag when he described the player’s style of play to that of Thembinkosi Lorch.

"It's because I think the player has done very well, he works hard. I like goals, I like people who score goals. You can't play and dribble and dribble every day but where are the goals?

"You have to score the goals and this player has done very well. I also voted for him but my vote goes to Kekana if I have to vote [for a player from my team],” concluded the former Bafana Bafana.
