De Bruyne: I don't feel sorry for Liverpool
Kevin De Bruyne says he does not feel sorry for Liverpool after Manchester City beat them to the Premier League title on the last day of the season.
Jurgen Klopp's men finished the season with a mammoth 97 points but still lost the league to Pep Guardiola's team by just a point.
And De Bruyne, who missed the last few games of the season with an injury, says he does not feel remorseful for the Reds.
“It’s a remarkable effort, but it means that we were just better than them in the end,” he told The Telegraph.
“I don’t feel sorry for them, because I don’t think they’d feel sorry for us. I don’t think anybody felt sorry about the way we went out of the Champions League. You take it.”
Manchester City face Watford in the FA Cup final later today with the treble on the line.
