Kabwe Warriors fairytale season which has seen them go 17 games without defeat will face its biggest challenge yet as they host Red Arrows at Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Warriors lead the log with 31 points but a loss may see them miss out on both Continental football and the ABSA Cup despite having had an impressive season so far. Red Arrows are fourth on the log with 30 points and still have a huge chance of qualifying for Continental football and even winning the Stream.
The Airmen led by impressive captain Bruce Musakanya will be aiming to end the unbeaten run and book a place in the ABSA Cup and continental football.A win for the Airmen will give them a chance but they need to either outscore Zesco and Zanaco or hope one of the two drops points.
It will be a fiercely contested affair in Kabwe as Clement Mundia and Patrick Kasunga face off with Paul Katema and George Simbayambaya in a midfield battle.
James Chamanga will lead the Arrows attack while Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba and Twiza Chaibela will be influential in the Warriors attack.
